The lovely thing about this combo is that only one piece of it needs to be on the board the turn before: the Beast himself

Cutting it from a competitive deck and trying to swap in something else would almost never be recommended because the card is too important to the deck's overall strategy

On top of this, the deck actually does a pretty good job at dodging the finality counter penalty

This is because Limited is full of creatures, and the removal that exists tends to be clunky (even good ones like Sephiroth's Intervention cost 4 mana)

The creatures return with flying, making them harder to stop
